Hello Darling Reader. I LOVE luxury beauty products. Chanel. Dior. Tatcha. Charlotte Tilbury. However… I can no longer afford to spend that kind of money on beauty. So… Today I’m going to share with you some of my current favorite skincare and haircare discoveries, and the best part… they’re all super affordable!
About My Skin and Hair (For Reference)
My skin and hair are both pretty normal, leaning towards dry. My hair is super straight. I’m not sure what else to tell y’all so moving right along…
Cleansers
So I personally prefer a double cleanse. First I go in with The INKEY List Oat Cleansing Balm currently listed at $13 for 5 oz. Then I follow up with the Ordinary Squalane Cleanser, which I could only find in this kit on Amazon that includes a serum that I don’t use and the moisturizer that I do use, currently listed at $26.69. You can purchase the cleanser by its self at Sephora, $21 for 5 oz and $10.50 for 1.7 oz .
Moisturizer
The only moisturizer I’m using right now is the Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA moisturizer from the Ordinary. This one comes in a kit on Amazon that includes the cleanser I recommended above and a serum. The kit is listed for $26.69 on Amazon. I like a very thick and creamy moisturizer, so I like this one. If you prefer a light moisturizer, you’re not going to enjoy this one. You can also get it at Sephora, currently listed at $14 for 3.3 oz or $6.70 for 1 oz.
Shampoo & Conditioner
I am loving SheaMoisture’s Curl & Shine shampoo and conditioner, currently listed at $25.98 for a 16 fl oz set on amazon. After we went to South Dakota, my skin and hair were SO dry! So I decided to try some curly hair products because they target hydration. I grabbed these and I am so happy with them!
Hair Mask
So I was using the Healing Power hair mask from Raw Sugar, currently listed at $9.99 at Target. I am currently missing the Mighty Curl mask from Raw Sugar, also currently listed at $9.99. The only reason I switched is because of the idea that curly hair products focus on moisture. I like them both but I prefer the Mighty Curl.
Body
I LOVE Treehut! Here’s what I’m using:
Body wash: Watermelon Gel Wash honestly it’s nothing special, I just like things to match. And I love the scent.
Body scrub: Watermelon Sugar Body Scrub and I love the Rainbow Sherbert Body Scrub. I can’t decide which one I like more. They both smell like fruity summery candy.
Body Lotion: Watermelon Whipped Body Butter. Yaaas girl. This stuff is delightful!
